Haven't posted in almost an year, so I decided to update my hair loss diary.

https://imgur.com/a/7h9T6xw - current hair, more photos than one could ask for.

https://imgur.com/a/Ou45GT0 - current hair (wet)

https://imgur.com/a/hNWuPOu - photos from almost exactly an year ago.

https://www.hairlosstalk.com/interact/threads/hairline-update-for-mid-2019-any-changes.123352/ - old thread.

I think i've maybe lost some density and one of my corners has lost quite a bit of those hairs which were barely grasping to life in 2019, as seen on this photo.

As always, I'm posting here to get you guys opinions on my hair-loss progression (if you could call it that).
I'm not on fina or minoxidil. I'm not even on the snake oil products such as saw palmetto. All I can do is wait for it to get worse as time goes by.

Hope you guys are still holding strong and as always I wish you all regrowth. Cheers!

Seems to be slowly thinning. Why aren't you on anything?
Long story short, finasteride is banned in my country and I don't want to get on minoxidil because I don't feel like it's worth it unless you're diffuse thinning.

That's too bad. Saw palmetto and zix is better than nothing. What about a PGD2 antagonist?

What is zix, and you mean saw palmetto tablets? I wanna get back on a regimen I’ve lost quite a lot of hair, what you thinks the best things to use other than finasteride/minoxidil. Finasteride gave me side affects and minoxidil is too messy twice a day

What country are you from if you don't mind me asking?

Bulgaria.
To be honest, I'm not 100% sure if it's banned, but i've been to over 5 different dermatologists, all sending me away even though I've told them I know the risks i'd be taking and i'm ok with them.

Your next to me, i'm from Romania, here it's not banned but just a few prescribe it because the rest had bad experience with it. Some told me that if you are older they are prescribing it but they categorically refuse to prescribe it to youngsters. I don't think it's a bad thing especially since they are not that vain and money driven as US doctors are for example but they should give it to you if you accept and acknowledge the risks, your mature, it's an approved and regulated drug they should not deny it but i guess you just need to find the right one.

Try an expensive cosmetic clinic they will prescribe it for sure

What’s a tablet alternative to finasteride?

Saw palmetto. It doesn't work well though. Probably won't do anything.

You still have great hair overall. Too me it looks like only a very tiny difference in density which rules out your loss being aggressive.
