Miconazole Nitrate & Keto Log ( 6 Month )

Alright,

Im doing a log. First application of miconazole today on temples.

Keto shampoo every second day in morning shower

Miconazole nitrate every night on temples before bed

Capasal coconut / coal tar shampoo inbetween

Will report sides and keep a log of weekly photos taken on a saturday under the same lighting. Will post first pics at around a month. Will continue this log for 6 months. If at 6 months no progress ( vellus or anything ) i will stop.

DAY 3 : Been afew days. Nothing to report side effects wise... No itching or burning or headaches. Obviously no results. Hair looks ever so slightly darker ( could be imagining this ) . Got a folder on my phone specially for this log so will be nice and easy to post the progress if any with dates at the 6 month mark and conclude this myth properly.

Ive seen afew people get results or claim results then disapear from the forums with no explanation or activity since. Dont worry i will not do this.

I got thick hair even at the hair line so alot easier to style and hide.

Its been close to this for about 10 years ( im 28 now)

Appeared one day when i was 17 or 18 . (Just didnt notice it until i got a short haircut one day ) jumped on nizoral and its mabeyy gone further back about a centimeter or so over 10 years.

finasteride - dont want to mess with my hormones as they have felt pretty balanced for the last ten years and my receeder hasnt got me to a point where i am upset about it enough to risk hormonal sides.

Min - too many shed storys and the hair quality never looks good ( havnt seen good enough results ) plus sides again seem quite common

How often do you use nizoral? Is it 1% or 2%?

Okay this is 1 week. Sadly the first photo isnt as clear. But the clearer one is this morning and if you zoom in it looks like some hairs are darker

I will try get the exact same shot next week and make sure its clear

Somethings happening... hairs are darker. And looks like little black dots where new hairs are coming

Really good approach documenting it like this. No matter how the end result is, this will help people in the future to better decide if they should follow this approach or not. I hope you continue updating pics until you decide to quit if it doesnt go as expected, but please just don't suddenly disappear.

You didn't mention dermarolling in the regimen... you don't think there's any benefits using it?

Yeh man... i have found afew old logs on miconazole and it looks promising then the OP just vanish in everycase.

Dermarolling doesnt appeal to me

Ill stick around and at 6months write a 1 or two page report with photos and see if its worth continuing

DAY 11: comparison with day 1... hair seems alot softer and and bit darker. No notible sidea. Effectiveness to early to judge but seems to be positive. Looking fordward to month comparrison. Shame about initial photos being shite quality
