If Riken does come out with a regenerative hair treatment one day, do we think they would treat the whole terrain of scalp as it were, including the sides, back and nape?
I get the feeling that their treatment would primarily focus on regrowing hair on the top and crown - the traditional hair loss areas.
The top is clearly the most important area to cover, but those of us with weak sides would want those filled up, too.
I just hope that when they come to clinical trials, they also test on diffuse thinners with a view to treating the whole scalp surface, at least making that option available to patients if they so need it.
