I feel like I'm the only one chiming in here. there are loads of guys while know more then me!! where have you all fine! honestly looking I'd say Norwood 2. you have loads of hair on your scalp. no thin patches at all. looks like a good head of hair. I cannot see diffuse or anything! as I've said the bold patches are no way male pattern baldness.

about your meds I know you rely on them but you know something. I was looking at my past pics a little bit bbefore I got on my ssri. guess what my hair looked much better and I was 3 stone lighter!! I have this random hair that is growing on my forehead. if you go and look at my thread on page one you will see. it's about one side receding faster then the other. anyway guess when that random started to grow... a month after I came off my ssri. I have more energy to. I eat less n sleep normally. you''ve to have a break mate or it'll do you more harm than good!

I've being on them for 10 months now, the extra dosage is working great but at what price.

I appreciate your help. I am seeing my GP today and I see what he says about the rashes.

Update, back from the derm.

She doesn't know what has happened or why. She has put me on antibiotics for a week. If it doesn't help I will need to go on another type of antibiotics and possibly for a few months or longer term. She thinks its a bacterial problem.

The picture I took earlier showing the loss on the side is also a bacterial problem.

She also asked me to buy hair, skin and nails tablets which I have done and to use indefinitely. She was talking about restricting sugar intake which I already do and possible vitamin deficiency.

For now I am going to be seeing my GP and see how the antibiotics go.

She didn't say much about the overall condition of my scalp.

I didn't ask specifically about male pattern baldness.

My mind will be at rest once the inflammation is sorted. She doesn't think the hair will grow back :(

She said she sees a scar in one of them. I think that is the one she thinks won't regrow.

I will try and take a good close up of them all and see which ones have scarred.

I've tried growing it for a bit and it covers it ok'ish but you can tell it's not quite right.

Disagree on the scar thing. The hair may not grow on the very thin line of scar itself, but it should grow around it again. My ex girlfriend got steroid injections on spots exactly like yours and that grew all the hair back. Discuss that with your Doctor, and if she isnt up for it, ask another Doctor.

admin I don't know if you're from the UK but there is a tv series on tv here that is called embarrassing bodies. anyway there was a guy on it who had the exact same problem as zeros! he had about 10 bald patches, anyway we say him see a specialist and the guy had an injection at every spot and 6 months later his hair was back. I'm pretty sure it's a form of alopecia??

The dermatologists won't do any injections until the redness is cleared which is fair enough.

Some updated pics from today.

The one from the side the pimple popped yesterday. There is a white head in the smallest one. You can see a small scar in the cleanest one that is located on the left.

I am taking 3 x 500mg of Cephalexin a day, 20 tabs in total no repeat.

Hi! does the affected area itches? You should try with shampoo containing ciclopirox. have nothing to lose. i had similar inflammation. helped me in a week.

Saw my GP, he has given me a prescription for 50mg for 3 months of Doxycycline. He doesn't think I will need the full 3 months.
