Low-dose Isotretinoin (accutane): Anyone Successfully Used This To Treat Their Alopecia?

The topic has come up over time on this board, and was mentioned by two dermatologists to me, that oil levels could be a factor in (or the cause of) of androgenic alopecia.

Has anyone successfully used low-dose isotretinoin to resolve their hair loss? (This would obviously only apply to someone who has oily skin and is also currently suffering from acne or seborrheic dermatitis.)

Just to be clear: I am only talking about low-dose or very lose-dose isotretinoin -- not the standard high dosage protocol that often leads to hair loss.

Thank you.

Just wondering, how much exactly are you taking and how often?
I haven't taken accutane since I was 15 (32 now) and I still get acne usually quite regularly, and my face never fully clears up. The only time I have freedom from acne is when I'm on antibiotics like doxycycline or minocycline but then they also spike up my liver enzymes ALT/AST dangerously high so I can't take them for more than a month or two at the most.
