The topic has come up over time on this board, and was mentioned by two dermatologists to me, that oil levels could be a factor in (or the cause of) of androgenic alopecia.
Has anyone successfully used low-dose isotretinoin to resolve their hair loss? (This would obviously only apply to someone who has oily skin and is also currently suffering from acne or seborrheic dermatitis.)
Just to be clear: I am only talking about low-dose or very lose-dose isotretinoin -- not the standard high dosage protocol that often leads to hair loss.
