Hello everyone,
I'm 19 years old and started losing my hair. My dad is norwood 7 bald and he was a diffuse thinner. In my case I started losing my hairline. I'm currently on finasteride 1mg and my plan is to use it for a 6-8 months to see how it works without adding minoxidil. My questions are: Do you think its a good idea to wait with minoxidil or should i hop on it immediatly?
And what chance do i have to keep my hair on these treatments? How well do they work on someone who started balding this early?
Ps: Also sorry for my bad english.

Baldness comes from mother’s side.

I wouldn’t use finasteride this early. Perhaps at a very low dosage but nah.

Topical minoxidil might be a better and safer choice.

finasteride and min work regardless of when hairloss start. They’re the two proven treatments for hairloss. The issue is having to take them for lofe
