Hello. I just recently starting noticing that I have lost hair in the frontal area and temple area. When comparing myself now to pictures of a few years back I can see a difference. It isn't to the point that most people would say "he's balding", but it is of concern to me since all the males in my family are bald. The past week or so I have been obsessing over it and it has been torture. I see that the hair at the very front of the hairline is less dense than other areas.
I have always thought to myself that I would get a transplant in order to fight it when the time came. However for now I would like to go into maintenance mode.
Can you guys suggest a topical solution or shampoo? I am probably going to pick up nizoral. What about something like revita or tricomin? Something that I can fit into my daily routine without it being too much of a headache would be great. Also, I do use styling products so any product I choose will have to allow for use of gels etc. Is there anything that works well for the temple area or hairline in particular?
I am going to talk to a doctor about what he suggests, possibly look at finasteride. I really want to try to attack this thing before it gets out of hand. Seems like this would be the right time and I would love any help you guys can give.
Thanks!
