Hi, I'm hoping you guys can give me some advice in regards to my receding hairline. I think I've always had a rather high hair line at the temples but recently I've been getting a little more paranoid over it. Friends and family say I'm worrying about nothing but I would rather catch it early then live in denial.

I'm 21 years old,

Mums side (grandfather, uncles, all have hair)
Dads side (grandfather has hair, dad went nw6 bald in his 30's)

So I am most worried about my right temple, I think thats changed the most. I have attached photos of all angles

You have Norwood 2 with ( dont quote me on it ) maybe some crown thinning. You are definitely suffering from minor hair loss.. ( its ok im 20 and worse off than you while on treatments) Get on finasteride that should stop further loss and maybe regrow.. You caught it early and that will work to your advantage. I know it sucks to hear from somebody else that you're going bald but you will thank me later. finasteride to maintain and minoxidil to regrow... but i personslly wouldnt touch minoxidil at this point, you have plenty of hair :)

just get on finasteride and never look back

Hi thanks for the advice! Its hard to make up my mind over it still, just found some old photos of myself at 15 and my hairline is virtually the same as it was then. I think I might go see my doctor for a second opinion. Photos seem to make it look a lot worse than it is according to some friends!
