Lexington International going for FDA trial ?

They are going with their hairmax laser comb. It is a small company with about $10-15 million yearly sales.

Are they that confident ?

i just wonder how they would go about a plecebo group?
i mean a fake laser comb that could fool the patient ? :dunno:

That shouldn't be very difficult. Just use red standard diodes instead of lasers. Actually, that is what they have done before, if I'm not mistaken.

As with any serious medical trial, you ask the subjects to guess if the device they used was a placebo or the real thing. That piece of statistics is published as well. If too many subjects guess correctly, the mock device wasn't realistic enough and the study is invalidated according to a previously established threshold.

hmm would be intresting if they used red LEDs of the same wavelength
i mean i have no idea to why the light has to be "laser light"

Because coherent light exhibits distinctive features not shared by incoherent light? :p
