Why is that? As Cowboys fan stated above many foods these days contain hormones ( especially dairy products ) which is usually testosterone. No scientist needs to tell you that more testosterone = more DHT!
It makes sense that by being Vegan and not putting these additional hormones in your body that your hair loss would lessen/slow down. I currently am still eating dairy but I have cut back significantly. You'd be surprised how many foods contain it, chips/crisps, certain pastas, noodles, protein shakes, biscuits, dips, etc. Even if you don't believe Veganism would be beneficial for hair ( which it is ) it's still a much healthier lifestyle. Check out vegetablepolice's video on hair loss. He was almost slick up front but since he became vegan he actually regained a lot of density.
Well firstly, more T doesn't necessarily mean more DHT. There are so many more factors than that.

Scandinavian countries consume the most dairy products and they have the best hair and skin out of every other European "Caucasian" country.

Finally, it's debatable that being vegan is generally a more healthy alternative.
Humans are naturally omnivors. Chemically, we lack cellulases that many herbivores have. I've got vegan friends and they constantly tell me how drained they feel as it's so hard to get the nutrients required from a meat-free diet.

But you believe what you want. I respect vegans and vegetarians.

My Vegan friends are very healthy. Just because we evolved as Omnivores doesn't mean its the healthiest choice. Meat contains type 1 carcinogens which increase the risk of colon cancer, high cholesterol levels, heart disease, etc. Many foods especially cereals are fortified with additional nutrients and vitamins so its not difficult to stay healthy as a Vegan. This obviously isn't the place for a debate like this, neither is it what I was trying to say. I was referring to how dairy consumption can affect your hair. We really shouldnt be drinking hormone laiden milk which was meant for a baby calf to grow up into a 400lb cow! More testosterone does mean more DHT, Why do you think many steroid using body bulilders are bald? The more testosterone you put in your body the more DHT you will have being produced.

Dairy takes at least 3 weeks to be completely out of your system. How often do you eat it?

On holidays (summer). And sometimes around Christmas (because of family dinners).
We're balding because of our genetics ... dairies make it worse. Sure.

The first studies about how harmful veganism is are popping up this year already. A decade of propaganda and its effects are now showing. Don’t get triggered, I just tell you things I saw in a convention that took place in my city with endocrinologists. I personally don’t care about taking sides.

ps: cereals are not even close to being healthy, if you’re talking classic popular brands.

Look up the leading cause of global warming and rainforest deforestation, it will make you realise just how harmful the livestock industry is to our planet. I'll take a shot in the dark and say those Endo's could be employed by the livestock industry to say these things. If you are able to get all your nutrients and vitamins as a Vegan it is much healthier by a landslide. I've researched it just as much as I have hair loss so I know my sh*t :) Anyway let's not talk about this anymore and get back to the point of this post, and I think we both agree balding is more prevalent today than it was a hundred years ago.

Wrong. Daiy contains mostly estrogen.

No scientist needs to tell you that more testosterone = more DHT!

Than vegans should go bald quicker since it has been found that vegans have higher levels of androgens (which is a good thing, just not for our hair)

Even if you don't believe Veganism would be beneficial for hair ( which it is )

Vegatablepolice has recently admitted to never being completely vegan and is currently on a carniverious diet with no changes in his hair yet.

Dairy milk promotes excess estrogen in the body due to it containing estrogen from female cows. At the same time, milk naturally contains androgenic properties, so it raises testosterone in the body and can cause bulking.

Why would vegans have higher levels of testosterone? Care to elaborate?

Only Anecdotal reports but it makes perfect sense. Balding only recently became more prevalent in Asia due to the increase of popularity in a western diet which includes red meats and you guessed it! Dairy.

VegetablePolice said he admittedly slipped up and ate fish on occasion, that's not enough to offset a 90+% of the time Vegan diet. If you haven't noticed since he stopped being Vegan his hair has taken a hit, I noticed that straight away.. I mentioned him because while he was Vegan his hair noticeably improved. Now he is not his hair loss is progressing.. I do watch his videos you can't catch me out like that :D

You are one of the few users here that in my opinion has a good head on his shoulders so I am quite dissapointed to read such a generalizing, narrow-minded and judgemental statement from you.

I feel it’s a form of virtue signalling when people are quick to talk about it unprompted. I was probably being overly provocative with that statement though, so point taken.
