No but have researched bimatoprost as I know it can grow eyebrow hair. Inconclusive findings but considering trying it.

As said, keep us informed.

Anyone use latanoprost 0.1%. I have been on it 2 months and have experienced some shedding but it looks like I have new vellus growing in places there has not been growth in years.
I've used it before. I did have good results, but they raised the price. Also I took it with topical Finasteride, and 2% Progesterone. Grew a lot of my hair back and kept my hairline solid. I don't think it does much on it's own (Latanaprost).

Thanks for your input. I take it with 5% minoxidil. I have been on 5% minoxidil since it became available without a prescription a long while ago. Any new growth over the past 4 months appears to be due to latanoprost melatonin and caffeine.

I’ll keep on using latanoprost for a few more months up to a year. It seems to help so far and who knows it may kick in some dormant follicles if I’m lucky. After a year I’ll think about adding topical finasteride.

there is something more to read.

Mar2024
Topical latanoprost solution (0.1%) has shown promising results in nonscarring androgenetic alopecia (Androgenetic Alopecia).3 It has also been reported to help stabilize eyebrow hair loss in FFA,4 and in our experience, it is an effective treatment option for this condition (authors’ unpublished data). Here, we report a case study demonstrating the potential efficacy of latanoprost (0.005%) as monotherapy applied twice daily for 12 months in stabilizing hair recessing in a patient with recalcitrant FFA.

! Although the use of latanoprost or other prostaglandin analogs for hair loss is promising, it is important to note that the optimal dosage and frequency of treatment with topical latanoprost monotherapy have not been firmly established and require further research.

...and more from notes:

(pricey analogues of latanoprost, bimatoprost, for eyelashes)

"Bimatoprost was either applied once daily—like our patient—or twice daily to the eyebrows. Improvement was noted as early as eight weeks; however, maximum improvement was observed to occur between six to eight months [3,9]. Similar to our patient, hair growth was progressive and continued to increase as the patient maintained the topical treatment."

"Bimatoprost exerts its effects by stimulating the prostamide receptor, leading to downstream effects resulting in the transition of hair follicles from the telogen phase to the anagen phase "

"Bimatoprost 0.01% can be considered effective, safe, and well-tolerated for the treatment of eyebrow hypotrichosis."

PS. respect to a fan of "prostaglandin" stuff: Swisstemples?

Your hair does look more dense than before.

You must be using some anti androgen with it as well? Am I wrong.

You definitely made some gains.
