Man, you get 2 extra hairs for every cm2 on your scalp. That's what, 50 hairs at most?
How exactly are lasers supposed to aid in hair growth?
Do they work by heating up the follicle slightly, improving blood flow?
Wouldn't this just increase the DHT supply?
Is there even any proof that increased blood flow aides in hair growth?
Considering that in (much) higher power they actually destroy the follicle? (as used in Laser Hair Removal)
I read all this sh*t about laser helmets yet I never hear a satisfactory explanation of how they actually work
It all seems like comedy to me, tbh.
The fact that these "combs" sell for £400 and consist of a plastic housing containing £20 worth of diodes smells even more of a scam to me.
Anyone who buys one of these for £400 after browsing these boards (and OMG's website) deserves to have their money taken off of them. On the other hand, people who build them, well, good luck, even if it doesn't work, I suppose it's a fun project to build one.
