I was surprised to read online that Lipogaine Big 3 Shampoo, which I am currently using, has less than 1% ketoconazole in it. Is this true?
I tolerate Lipogaine Big 3 very well doing it 3, or even 4 times a week. Leaves hair dry but on the off days I simply wet my hair (no shampoo or conditioner) and this helps build up oil/fight off the dryness.
I have heard mixed reviews about Revita and I don't know if it even has more than 1% Keto in it. Lots of people recommend Regenpure (even calling it Nizoral...?) but I think that has 1% as well.
Even Nizoral brand seems to only have 1% now, even though some say they have Nizoral 2%. I know that all of the literature showing hair regrowth that is comparable to Minoxidil was with Ketoconazole 2% shampoo.
Is 1% not effective? Is Lipogaine really less than 1%? Is there 2% out there? And does more keto correspond to more dryness/irritation?
What are you favorite Ketoconazole shampoos?
Thanks!
