I was surprised to read online that Lipogaine Big 3 Shampoo, which I am currently using, has less than 1% ketoconazole in it. Is this true?

I tolerate Lipogaine Big 3 very well doing it 3, or even 4 times a week. Leaves hair dry but on the off days I simply wet my hair (no shampoo or conditioner) and this helps build up oil/fight off the dryness.

I have heard mixed reviews about Revita and I don't know if it even has more than 1% Keto in it. Lots of people recommend Regenpure (even calling it Nizoral...?) but I think that has 1% as well.

Even Nizoral brand seems to only have 1% now, even though some say they have Nizoral 2%. I know that all of the literature showing hair regrowth that is comparable to Minoxidil was with Ketoconazole 2% shampoo.

Is 1% not effective? Is Lipogaine really less than 1%? Is there 2% out there? And does more keto correspond to more dryness/irritation?

What are you favorite Ketoconazole shampoos?

Thanks!

I use Nizoral twice a week and it doesn't do much besides prevent dandruff and dry my hair out to some extent. I remember starting Nizoral and being amazed at what it did to my skull scalp-wise. I noticed that I was thinning hardcore by that point as prior to using Nizoral dandruff had occupied the thin spots.

So yeah, Nizoral has been good for me but it's overrated I'll admit. The stuff doesn't do anything more than make your scalp look great and your hair is left indifferent.

Regenepure have 1%, but it also contains other ingredients that helps out.

Thanks, I wonder what Revita has. I don't care about any other ingredient other than ketoconazole, I think all the rest is just BS. Keto is the only one that's proven to work.

So I assume almost all of the formulations like Regenpure, Revita, and Nizoral are 1%. But what about Lipogain Big 3 Shampoo, is it really less than 1%?

I think Revita is 1% also.

Did you mean <1%? Either way it doesn't matter, I'll probably stick with Lipogaine Big 3. It makes my hair frizzy as hell, but all shampoos do. I have really dry hair. I never get irritation from it though.

Yep..Regenepure is made in China.

And hustlingbaldy continues to give me negative reps for spilling the beans.

Interestingly, Revita is the only shampoo that doesn't make my hair frizzy. I actually think it's a fantastic product, even though the marketing and packaging design is ridiculously over the top, almost to a fault. It's also made in the U.S. near Miami beach which I thought was cool.

Actually little bit further North, I think their factory is somewhere in Pompano Beach.
