Just got back from the dermatologist and let me just tell you.. what a waste of time and money.
At first he followed the expected procedure and inquired if there was any history of baldness in my familly.
Then he just asked looked at my hair and said " you do have such thin hair, but it seems to be something you were born with"
He literaly just touched the hair and looked at it for 20 seconds and proceeded to prescribing me something called cestadine. :!:
He also wrote me a percription for propecia and stated that I could take it in intervals. 4 months, then 2 months of interval.
He also told me that he was sure that I wouldn't go bald before my thirties because I did not start loosing my hair at an earlier age. From what I have read, this is not correct at all.
what do you guys make of this?
