Isn't this a fabulous head of hair for an 100 year old man on his wedding day?

Truly amazes me how there are guys out there who've lived for nearly a hundred years and experienced zero hair loss.
I was thinking the other day about the idea of being immortal and what came to mind was that If I never died It would be an endless struggle with male pattern baldness. Forever a bald man, just annoying lol. Like Van Hohenheim but less hair.

It is interesting to wonder how this man's hair would be if he was to theoretically live till age 200 or 300. I wonder whether he would inevitably reach the eventual NW7 if he was to keep on and on living indefinitely, or whether he would simply never, ever go bald because it is "genetically impossible" for him to ever lose his hair.

it would eventually happen.

might not be within a male pattern baldness uniform fashion, but the whole scalp will gradually thin over time.

notice how all older individuals have thinner hair then their younger counter parts, we all have androgen receptors, and dht sensitive follicles... it's just a matter of how sensitive.

Senescent Alopecia is age related and not to do with DHT/Miniaturisation e.t.c. It's just generalised thinning but not loss of hair counts. A decrease in hair weight is a more prominent feature. It's really not a big deal but these kind of oldies would do well with Biotin, hair health vitamins and Minoxidil to increase delivery of nutrients if they really wanted to improve. It's a bit like your skin ageing as you get older. I am only guessing though whether this regimen would help them.

For sure! Dude if I could make it to 60 with full hair or Norwood 2.5 that in itself would be enough. I do think these days that even balding at 40-50 is too early. People are staying younger longer. But over 60 and it's pension time. Don't get me wrong, losing hair any time is sad but I can handle it much better at 60 than now.

Speaking from experience I guess and on a harlosstalk website?
You'd be suprised how many guys in their late 60's begin to loose their hair and actually care.
Whether you're 100 or 12 and noticed all your hair falling out, you're going to notice and let's say prefer it not to happen....

I think this kind of proves there is no such thing as a mature hairline or losing hair as part of aging because clearly some people like this guy it doesnt seem to apply to. Anything part of aging cant skip certain people. Stuff going on we dont understand? Sure but it doesnt just always happen
