Lets be real here, 95% of the time a father who balded at a young age(<30) is almost guaranteed to have a son who balds young as well. Is there any situation you know of where the father balded very young but the son has hair into his 30s? Ive almost never seen this happen in both real life and with celeberties.

Do I have any hope of even treatments working? I remember a few years ago I visited my dads family and they were actually suprised that I had so much hair because all of them went bald during their teen years(this was before my hairloss started and went aggresive).Dad was bald at 20, his 2 brothers went bald at 20-23yrs old.

my dad, his brother and his dad was a NW7 by mid 20s and I'm like a NW2-3V at 29. I started taking rogaine at 27...I started noticing hair loss around 25-26. I had perfect hair in my early 20s

I just started taking finnasteride 3 months ago. What's in my favor is I have very thick donor area and my hair is very wavy/curvy. Between the treatments and getting say 2 transplants of combined 9000 grafts, I should have decent hair my whole life

It happened to me. Father was already a NW3 by 18. Was a high Norwood in his 20's. Now he is diffusing even in his donor area and is a NW6/7. His father had the same thing happen. His brother did not go bald but diffused later in life. Didn't happen to my brother until later in life but he is NW3V with diffuse thinning.

Nah bro. My father started to visibly lose hair at 60...I started at 22. Fucked up.

I mean like guys who never used treatment. You still had hair long past ur the age ur dad went bald at even when u werent taking finasteride or minoxidil?

I didn't start treatment until almost 40.
