catalyse mean it will increase the rate or time ur suffering ur hair loss. basically even if u aren't supposed to be suffering from male pattern baldness right now because ur natural dht levels would/should be low. by jacking off too much ur either using up too many important nutrients (not unless ur malnourished) and there is dht slowly building up in your scalp. Now if your genes had the preposition to give you 'weak' follicules that can be damaged by dht, this buildup will initially start damaging your hairline...

Thats a misconception, the original diagrams used to define an NW1 were dis proportionate as most men had mature hairlines... The main indication of an NW1 is no hair loss, so NW1 is anyone's juvenile or hairline before hair loss. Even mature hairlines are somewhat recessed on the norwood scale.

Your mother might have a naturally high hairline, thats her nw1. Now if she diffused or thinned a bit from top this number would increase
