Is My Hairline Receding Or Is This Normal For 23

I’ve always had long hair so I’ve never paid attention to my hairline.. I’m 23 now and now I’m scared of going bald early and was wondering if this is receding or if this is normal or should I be worried? I’ve never really paid attention to it until now. Both my parents have good hair but my moms dad was balding when we passed away at 70. The pics were taken with flash btw.

But don't worry! There is a chance you won't go completely bald within the next few years! You can start Minoxidil+Nizoral+Daily prayers (5x)+Cream of Chram as a preventative measure. You could get some extra non-bald time if you're lucky!

I’m 23 years old blonde/dirty blonde hair, i’ve never even paid attention to my hairline until now and I don’t know for sure if my hair is just a normal hairline or receding, don’t want to be recommended any product just want a real opinion.. thank you so much for reading! The side pics are me pulling all my hair back and I usually have the sides of my hair shaved with a 2 razor it’s just grown out If that makes a difference.

Amazing how we can have so different opinions on things. For me, your not receding at all. Judging from these pictures, you are completely fine.

And even if you are/would recede, it doesn't mean you will go bald. I know none of us wants to recede, but the real "enemy" is the diffusal thinning and/or crown thinning.

Zero percent recession in my opinion. My hairline is worse than yours and I don't have a male pattern baldness diagnosis (just here to be cautious and because I like celebrity Norwood spotting).

How do you get diagnosed with male pattern baldness? I saw a dermatologist once and she told me male pattern baldness was any thinning whatsoever that follows the temple/crown pattern.
I thought to myself, what % of men go to old age with no thinning at all in those areas? She told me it was a mistake to assume male pattern baldness = going actually bald. I suspected they were trying to define male pattern baldness in a broad way to sell more of their product.

So is that normal to be thinner on the side towards the front? It looks normal without flash and bad with it to me. But my hair on top is thick, and my front hairline seems normal to me I’ve just never paid attention before and used to have longer hair so I have now idea if that’s normal or not.
