Is My Hairline Receding/mauring At Age 20?

What's going on?

I've always had really lush thick hair. Both my grandparents had full heads of hair their entire lives, but my dad had thinner hair, and went bald early in life.

I've had smaller dips here since my late teens, but now I feel as though they've grown larger.

Is this just a maturing hairline? Am I going bald? Should I hop on finasteride to preserve my hair?

Unfortunately it looks like the start of male pattern baldness to me, you can tell by noticing the thinner, smaller hairs at the corners of your hairline. You still have great hair, somewhere in between a Norwood 1 and 2 but closer to a 2. finasteride would be a good idea, but you could just monitor it for a while and see if things get any worse before jumping on the meds.
