It looks like yours but my hairline is worst. I have temple recession, frontal thinning and recently i've noticed that my crown it's starting to thin too. I'm just on minoxidil.
I do too and I loss about 30 plus hairs In the shower

30 hairs isn't too bad, that is about what I have been losing in the shower for the last year or so (20-30 hairs give or take). I think you are starting to recede and possibly thin in your forelock, is your hair greasy/unwashed in this picture?

Ray pretty much everyone has told you the same thing. Not sure how what else you are looking for.

It costs close to $500M to put something through FDA phase 3. These studies are done in an insanely careful way (only 1/10 drugs make it). Please believe science and not anonymous forum posters (besides me lol).

Think about it for a second. If 350M people in USA, at least 215M are age 20-60 and 50% are male so 107M. Of those I think at least 5-10% are on propecia since probably 50% are losing hair. If we pick 7.5% that’s 8M men on propecia today. If side effects occur in 2% as the study says, that’s 160,000 men with side effects.

And you can bet that they will go online and post about it. So, statistically you are basically not going to get sides, but the 2% is still a large and vocal group which is why you see so much online. The other 98% with great results aren’t jumping on hair loss forums to post about it. Except me because I have BDD.

One more thing. If you buy a whitening toothpaste and it makes your teeth whiter, how likely are you to post about it in a forum?

If on the other hand, it causes your toenail to fall off, how likely are you to post about it in a forum?

I bought the pills but I'm still not sure if I wanna risk my dick for it.. I know that there is a very low chance something will happen but I'm worried about permanent sexual side effects after quitting them as from what I have seen, most people get a crash after quitting the drug and then have long term sexual side effects.. I'm only 20 I still want to f***, but on the other hand if I go bald it will be a lot harder to find a girl to f***, I'm in a dilemma

This is completely false. There is enough scaremongering about propecia as it is.

That's some pretty hefty recession, it looks a lot worse in this photo.

You look quite young (early 20s?), I would jump on finasteride to stop any further recession because it won't take much more before it becomes quite noticeable to your average person.

Dude your hair is still thick. Your crown is not what you should be worrying about at all. Don't think you're actually balding at the crown, just that you have some diffuse thinning and the cowlick is at the crown so it looks a little thinner. Hairline/forelock area is the area I would be more worried about, but right now it still looks good, so if you take finasteride you most likely will be good if you respond well. You do not look 29 at all btw, you look pretty young and still have pretty good hair, lucky you. I honestly was expecting you to say you were like 18/19 based off your photos, and then the loss would be a little more worrisome. Is that you in your profile pic?

Also highly doubt you will get fat on finasteride. I have taken it for 3 years (23 years old now), losing ground hair-wise though, but in great shape, even though I am drinking upwards of 30 alcoholic drinks a week. Even took dutasteride (more potent ar inhibitor) for a couple months, and my physique/lifts were the best of my life, but got some sexual sides (libido was sh*t, no morning wood, still could get erections tho) so had to quit it and go back to finasteride. Don't worry too much, and if you have any issues post on here if you're worried, and if they persist then quit.

Looking at your recent photo, your loss is actually pretty minimal. Hairline is receding and diffusing a bit, but still pretty good density.
