I can't stop crying when looking in the mirror and seeing my hairline. My dad started norwooding hard in his 50s and it scares me so much. My maternal grandpa started norwooding in his 90s but no one else has any hairloss on my mom's side. I'm really scared I'm norwooding hard. I have the worst hairline in my department and it only gets worse from here. What should I do? I've put minoxidil on my hairline for the last year but it hasn't done anything.

I'm 24.

In my humble opinion you've got tonnes of hair. Most guys on here would probably kill for that hair. My hairloss started late 20s. Looking back I think use some good natural products now. If it continues think about getting finasteride and minoxidil. Not sure what others think.

Your hair looks fine to me. just keep track of it, if it gets bad jump on finasteride and nizoral. I would stay clear of minoxidil.

Bad hairline? LOL. If I had your hair and hairline at 24 I would be doing Summersaults, backflips and corkscrews in happiness. You are Norwood 1.5 and it honestly just looks like a mature hairline. Major BDD.

Can I ask why you say stay clear of minoxidil?

I think it's just best to use finasteride and nizoral for a year or so and see the results before thinking about integrating minoxidil in to your regime. I had a bad experience with it and wish i did this instead, so that's the advice i give people.

Relax, you have plenty of options left.

Finasteride can be pretty powerful when it comes to thickening up existing hair, especially when used in combination with minoxidil.
Your strategy could be to use it for a few years, until hopefully something better comes out.
