Hey guys, for those of you who don't know me I am 21, am in college, and have been on finasteride 1mg for over 2 years with great success and my hair remains thick and full minus a slight recession in temples (Norwood 1.5-2), which no one can really notice unless I pull my hair back. I am on it because I care about my hair like everyone else on this forum, and I model so it is important for me to maintain my looks.
However, it was a very windy day today in NYC and I have to walk to class and my hair is a little on the longer side right now. Whenever there is a huge gust of wind and it messes my hair up, it makes me self-conscious about my temples and I hope that no one notices. Maybe I am just overreacting because some of my friends with no hair loss whatsoever (even girls) complain that windy days mess their hair up, but I think for me it is different because I don't want my temples to be exposed.
Finasteride has been great for me. I've always had a high-ish hairline since I was a little kid. Part of me wants to get a small hair transplant to fill them in since I have finasteride maintaining the rest of my hair, but I know that isn't a good idea at my age and part of me is hoping that Replicel or Histogen can help more with regrowth.
In short, I was just wondering if any of you other users get annoyed and have a similar experience with the wind and if any of you have ideas as to how to overcome this.
