Is it finally time for finasteride?

There doesn't seem to be any progress, but I think it's still generally to early to judge.

But keep at it! We both have very similar patterns of hair loss, hope we both see some results.

Update: I am almost done with 4 months, so far just a bit more shedding, up and down depending on the day/week; hopefully this means regrowth is coming in the next few months!

Update: Just got a year of refills after check in with Dr., everything is going well. Will be getting 1mg finasteride generic at Sam's Club now for $4 a month (yes, with the Plus membership, $4!). So if you shop at Sam's, upgrade to Plus, it's not much more! I will post photos in near future. Feel free to ask me any questions.

Keep at it bro, I am sure you'll get results if you stay consistent. finasteride-results can start showing up very late compared to minoxidil-results when started in conjunction with finasteride. All looks solid for you so far!

Thanks for the support buddy, I've used minoxidil almost 2.5 years so you're probably right lol. I only use it once a day, might go back to twice a day.

Going on 130 day update (barely over 4 months). v. barely over 3 months

edit: Here's a back of head shot...crown filling in a bit : ) Think I might finally start growing my hair past a 3mm cut...see how it goes

No sides, libido is still the same (good), as far as progress, it seems different every week lol. Sometimes I think it's thickening, other weeks I think I'm losing more hair... Only time will tell with me I guess!

Another update: Basically the same as my post back in June. I'm thinking of going back to minoxidil twice a day a I have found out the Walmart brand is cheap!

Update: A bit over 9 months in, hair def isn't worse than when I started. Again, still feels about the same as last update lol. Started using kirkland minoxidil 2x a day instead of rogaine once a day. Will see if results get better.
