I would have used finasteride at 14 when my hair loss started If I knew about it then lol but that's just me. Its not recommended to start finasteride until you are at the very least 18. I personally wouldn't recommend it unless your hair loss is already noticeable and is greatly affecting your mental health. Could you upload pics of your hair please?
Tbh that's really f*****g aggressive balding at 17, if I were you I would jump on it right away but it would be preferable if you waited until 18-19 years old to jump on it but we both know that you don't have that time..
I have been trying to find an answer to that but it's all inconclusive, everyone is different so it's very hard to determine what's actually going on at the top, I have been on finasteride for 3.5 months and I'm still shedding a sh*t ton of hair, maybe more than before and even I'm in the same predicament, wondering if finasteride is actually working or not..that being said finasteride should be the treatment you should be on if you want to have a chance at saving your hairAlso, do you think the amount of hair yoi shed is an indicator on wether hairloss is progressing or has stopped?
Damn bro, I thought I had it bad. Forget about finasteride, you need dutasteride.sure, here you go. As you can see Its getting really f*****g bad. Gonna be buzzing all of it today probably.
lmao. Guess Im fucked? Should I expect good results or should I just forget about it?Damn bro, I thought I had it bad. Forget about finasteride, you need dutasteride.
if your loss is recent you might be able to recover quite a bit of hair. Even just maintenance is fine because your hairline isn't all that bad, its just with you being 17 makes it seem worse than it actually is. Hair transplants in the future can help fill in the gapslmao. Guess Im fucked? Should I expect good results or should I just forget about it?

The more you lost in a short span of time = greater chance of growing back. You seem like the perfect candidate for it. I wouldn't bother with finasteride and go straight to dutasteride.. Also you said you are worried about penis size? Get some DHT gel and give it a rub on your dick that should helpYeah tell me about it. Youd be surprised how common this is in easterb europe though. Basically everybody is balding. One of my friends balding is even more agressive than mine, and hes just turning 18 soon. I had a good hairline up till 15 years old so its fairly recent, maybe ill even get some regrowth like some users do.
Alright, thanks alot. I still have miniaturized hairs along what used to be my nw0 hairline, and they retained color, so maybe Ill even regain my hairline. The more you lost in a short span of time = greater chance of growing back. That's a bit ambitious lol. The golden rule for treating hair loss is given one treatment at least one year on its own so you know how it effective it is. If you are not satisfied with results after a year you could add in minoxidil which is a growth stimulant and could regrow more hair if you are lucky.Ai

Does this work also with gyno i'm so afraid of get on the drug because of thatThe more you lost in a short span of time = greater chance of growing back. You seem like the perfect candidate for it. I don't know but finasteride is very, very unlikely to cause gyno. I don't think you understand what gyno actually is? You won't grow breasts like a woman.. Its actually a mild puffiness and sensitivity in the breast tissue. I was on estrogen as well as a powerful anti androgen and I got gyno.. Guess what? It was not noticeable at all and now that I've dropped the estrogen its completely gone in my left breast! Don't be afraid of finasteride for such a silly reason as thatDoes this work also with gyno i'm so afraid of get on the drug because of that
I was going to try setipiprant first , what do you think ?I don't know but finasteride is very, very unlikely to cause gyno. I don't think you understand what gyno actually is? I don't think its a smart move given how ridiculously expensive it is when finasteride is a lot cheaper and could likely help your situation.I was going to try setipiprant first , what do you think ?
