Is Blending A Hair System Easier Or Harder As It Gets Longer?

Hi,
I'm going to be wearing my hair about shoulder length from a crown piece (keeping my hairline) and I was wondering if longer hair is harder or easier to blend? Also, would going to a women's hairdresser who knows about extensions or a women's hair replacement stylist make more sense? I know women's systems are usually a bit different to men's (e.g. clip on ones and extensions and such) but would the fact that they know how to blend long hair be more advantageous than going to a men's one who will be used to blending shorter systems and lots of undercuts and such that seem very common?
Thanks

It depends on the style. If you are just doing an all-one-length, then the blend can be easier. I would guess going to a women's stylist would do a better job. Best to call first, and explain. Good luck!

I am a short-haired guy, so I am no expert on this, but I would have thought that blending is only really an issue with short hair. With a long haired system the system hair is overlaying the natural hair, rather than blending with it.

For me I find it gets harder to blend just from the perspective that my sides and back are not super strong in density terms. So as my natural hair gets longer I just have to do a better job in combing the back and sides to blend in nicely. Not everyone has this problem though, especially if you're gifted with strong sides and back.

Most of these things you need to just try yourself I find.
