The Norwood scale only starts at 1, there is no zero Norwood.

I've been looking got diagrams on this site and can't find any. For a Hair loss site, shouldn't they have some diagrams? Maybe I've just overlooked them.

It depends on the genetic characteristics of your hair. Some people have ultra thick/dense hair, others thinner, but most times it's thinner in the front, even for people without male pattern baldness. Visit a derm and ask a scientific opinion, he will tell if your hair is "damaged" and thinner from male pattern baldness or if it's your hair characteristics...

Does Norwood -5 mean that your like an APE-Man with hair all over your face and head, ears everywhere... It should mean that....
