I’m curious if that’s a common pattern or just my personal experience.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately and wanted to hear real opinions. Do you think Taurus people are actually more attracted to deep conversations than surface-level flirting? I’ve dated a Taurus before, and casual flirting didn’t seem to impress them much, but when we talked about values, plans, or even small everyday things in detail, they opened up more. I’m curious if that’s a common pattern or just my personal experience.

From my experience (I’m a Taurus myself), light flirting can be fun for a moment, but it rarely creates a real connection for us. What really pulls me in is when someone takes time to talk, not just about big dramatic topics, but also about how they see relationships, trust, comfort, even routines. I once went on dates where the conversation stayed playful and shallow, and I lost interest fast. On the other hand, I’ve had long chats that felt calm and honest, and those stuck with me. I’ve noticed this idea explained pretty well here: Aries — not in a “this is destiny” way, but it reflects that Taurus often wants emotional safety first. Deep talk shows effort and sincerity, while surface flirting can feel empty after a while. It’s not that Taurus hates flirting; it just works better when it’s built on something real.

I’m not a Taurus, but I’ve been close friends with a couple of them for years. What I see is that they listen very carefully and remember details from conversations, which already tells a lot. Flirting might catch their attention, but real interest seems to grow when discussions feel grounded and sincere. It’s less about impressing them and more about being genuine and consistent over time.
