Stress is for me the biggest erection killer, I have much better erections on dutasteride 0.5 mg ED and with mild stress than on big stress like finals on university and without dutasteride/finasteride.
makes sense, i think severe stress and lack of proper sleep are gigantic factors for me right now

There's only one way for him to find out which one is causing it. He has to quit one. It makes sense to first try quitting the one that offers no real benefit versus the one that will maintain his hair.
Nobody can though because it's too easy for them to sit there happily fapping every night blowing load after load looking at a fking screen, it becomes so normal you lose all sense of reality.p**rn is literally one of the most addictive things on the planet. It took hypnosis for me to finally quit.

Finasteride CAN cause ED
p**rn addiction CAN cause ED

If your ED is from finasteride you cannot cure this by abstaining from p**rn
Both finasteride and p**rn could be causing it at the same time like I've said 100 times, quitting p**rn will obviously give him some, if not most of his libido back. But OP is a p**rn addict so quitting finasteride is the better option for him. The amount of weak cucks on this website amazes me. This I what p**rn does, it weakens men and turns them into pussies who enjoy voyeurism and jerking off to random people.

If you think p**rn has absolutely no effect on ed then you're a pussy in serious denial. Go ahead and jerk off to p**rn and stay depressed. Don't try to act all knowledgeable when you don't know sh*t.

Child, I’ve fucked more girls than will ever give you the time of day. I’m not depressed in the least nor do I have any performance problems with my current girlfriend, her predecessors, or the girls I met at the bars or after games in college and grad school. I have watched p**rn since I was a freshman in high school and regularly utilized it for its intended purpose since that time.

You see, trade secret here, if you jerk off before you have sex, you will last longer. Also, women like p**rn too. Many of them enjoy it as part of foreplay or to discover new things they want to try. You can absolutely have sex and jerk off every day if you so desire. Just give the fella downstairs a few days off every once in a while and you will be good to go.

You understand how hilarious it is when a teenager who is barely a man at all comes around here and makes statements about p**rn weakening men and acting as though you have any life experience whatsoever? It’s ridiculous and it’s something you literally know nothing about. You attack my knowledge and somehow forget or don’t comprehend that you yourself haven’t a shred of ground to stand on.

Your arguments and your statements are the same ones made by “nice guys” before they transition to full incel. Soon you will wonder why girls like guys who are assholes and not a strong man like yourself who would fully appreciate them. How could a girl ever want someone who likes p**rn, jerks off, and has hooked up with dozens of girls over a virtuous, intelligent, guy like yourself? The world doesn’t work the way you think it does, but you’ll find that out soon enough.

I've just started dating new girl after a long period of no relationships. We are about to have sex, but problem is i dont have libido or i cant get erection without having to watch p**rn and heavily jerking it off.

In natural circumstances i wont get hard.

I do have severe stress at the moment due to overworking and having high pressure at the job, also i sleep little. Combined with finasteride i guess it just enhances the effect of all these negative factors.

What pills besides v**** can i use to make sure i get hard when i neet it without too much damage to heart and stuff?

I'm tired of this fear mongering. You libido is not low because of finasteride or your job. Your libido is low and your erection is weak because you are a beta male who is balding. Tough through the side effects till they go away, stop your hairloss, and put down the p**rn.

Congrats, you've banged a lot of women. You're more knowledgeable than anyone on this website.

That’s not what I am saying at all. I am saying that watching p**rn daily and/or having sex daily is normal and healthy. Under normal circumstances it shouldn’t affect you at all. We all have our own libido, we all have our limits. Stay within those and you’ll never have any problems getting it up.

Watching p**rn is completely normal. It’s the expression of a base human instinct hard coded into our DNA for a compelling evolutionary purpose. That being said, as is the case with any pleasurable activity, it can become addicting. If it becomes a crutch it’s an issue, if it doesn’t it’s not. You are not any more or less of a man because of it. I have a friend who is a sex addict and he literally wishes he would be stopped by overstimulation.

OP has a serious issue. He is taking a medication that lists said issue at the top of the list of common side effects whereas p**rn has never been shown to do so on its own. The theory of porns ability to “desensitize” is rampant, but the empirical data needed to support such an assertion is non-existent. The only evidence to emerge so far is a correlative, which by definition does not prove it is causative. So, when left with two possible factors, but only one of which is known to cause the condition in question it makes far more sense to point the finger in that direction.

I understand it is more pleasant to point the finger away from a medication you yourself are using, but it’s important to ask yourself why you are doing that. Confirmation bias is almost as powerful as denial, both of which will urge you to accept any alternative to a truth that is unpleasant to accept.

The "common" side effects vary from 3-5%, still a very low number, i wouldn't call it "extremely common" though.

I'm not on any meds so I'm not being biased. Also, watching p**rn is NOT normal. Just because lots of people do it, it doesn't mean it's normal. Sex is a human instinct, watching two random people having sex on a screen while jerking off is not. Our brains are not biologically programmed to withstand p**rn.

My mistake. Look, you may not believe that p**rn is normal, but the way you put it seems to suggest your problem isn’t with it so much as it is with masturbation. Masturbation is normal. p**rn may make it easier or more satisfying to do so, but it’s not necessary. p**rn is to masturbation what sex toys are to intercourse; would you argue that using sex toys to enhance your sex life isn’t normal?

Regardless, If p**rn becomes necessary for you to get down, without other intervening considerations, then you’ve got an issue, but otherwise it’s tertiary at best.

Sex toys aren't brain destructive though. Sex toys are not natural but it won't change the way you think or the way you view women or anything. Also, I think masturbation twice a month is a good amount for those who absolutely can't go on without sexual release (not me). p**rn is the main thing I have a problem with.

Now that I think about it, that wasn’t the best comparison. Visual stimulation is different than physical. I’m guessing you would be opposed to p**rn of used when having sex. Honestly man, it’s up to you what you’re comfortable with and as long as those views don’t affect those who don’t share them it isn’t really an issue.

That being said, I assure you that the first time a girl pulls out a strand of a*** beads it is going to change how you view them, though I understand your point to be about women as a whole.

I see healthy masturbation as doing so at the same frequency with which you would have sex in a relationship. If that was twice a month I would be pretty concerned personally, but do what you like.

The only time I’ve ever had limp dick was a couple of times in college when I would drink a fifth of captain morgan back in the day. Suffice to say, I stopped drinking it that particular poison as soon as it was identified as the culprit. I still remember the morning after that happened. Jesus Christ she was mad as hell the and I had no idea why since I blacked out half way through the night...

If quitting p**rn helps this guy fix the situation then great, but from what I’ve seen, unless he’s a hardcore addict, I doubt it’s going to fix things. It’s a sh*t sandwich of a situation though that’s for sure.

Twice a month is more than enough for people who can't handle extra sexual energy. When you masturbate you're releasing chemicals that are used to create another human being. So think about how much energy you're losing. Once every two weeks is more than enough. I doubt most masturbators have as much sex as they masturbate (even if they completely quit masturbating and pursued sex more often I doubt they would have sex as much as they masturbate). The body's purpose is to procreate so masturbating like 2-3 times a week is tricking your mind into thinking you've had sex like three times in a week. So you won't feel normal for a while because your body thinks you've already accomplished your main goal which is to procreate, and then lots of other chemicals are released to make you feel relaxed and lazy while the body creates more semen so you can procreate again (aka blow your load in your own hand again)
