I'm 22 And I'm Starting To Bald. What Norwood Am I? What Treatment Would You Advise Me?

Hi, I'm 22 (will turn 23 later this year) and I first started to notice that my hairline was receding about a year ago, but it may have begun earlier. Also, I have been shedding a lot of hair lately.

My father started balding in his early 20s and by 25 he had significant hair loss. What worries me is that we have the same type of hair and I started balding at about the same age he did, so in a few years my hair loss may be just as bad as his was. My brother (30) is also experiencing hair loss. It's worse than mine, but not very
significant yet. His type of hair is different though.

What Norwood do you think I am? I'd say the left side is perhaps a 2 and the right side is a 1.5. Also, I have what I think is a very small widow peak, but I'm not totally sure.

What treatment would you advise me? I told my family doctor that I was concerned about my possible hair loss and asked him if he could reffer me to a dermatologist to check it but he refused and said it was just my imagination even though he didn't even look at my hair.

No one has anything to say? I know my hair loss is very mild (call it "maturing hairline" if you want) but there is definitely less hair in my left side and it is thinning. Maybe the photos aren't the best. Any feedback is appreciated.

I should add that my forehead is kinda big and perhaps it makes my hairline look worse. In fact I have a photo somewhere of when I was 5 years old and I almost look like a Noorwood 2 there lol, but I definitely wasn't balding back then.

I have read some horror stories about Finasteride and I'm a bit worried about using it. What is your opinion about topical Finasteride? If I finally decide to try Finasteride, I would probably buy a generic, as it's cheaper. Any reliable online shops? I live in Europe, by the way.

I would definitely try topical first. I live in the United States so I don't much what they have in Europe.
