I’m 18 Years Old And I’m Experiencing Thinning Hair

Hello I’m 18 years old and I’ve been experiencing thinning and shedding at my temples for the past year now and every since I’ve started experiencing it I’ve been watching my temples and not until recently does my temple show receding can someone tell me where I stand on the Norwood scale and maybe give me some insight if maybe it’s just my “mature” hairline coming in or if it’s early stages of balding

Your hair looks to be thinning a little. Could you post a picture of your temple area with all your hair pulled back. It isn't easy to tell if some of your hair is pulled back and some isn't.

I think you have some slight recession but it is not much. It might just be the development of a "mature hairline" that will not progress any further. What's your family history of hair loss like? Did your dad have hair loss at a young age?

My dad died at 30 and when he died he had little to no hair loss you couldn’t even tell the only male in my family that has any form of HairLoss is my grandfather on my mother’s side but he didn’t begin to recede until he was in his late 50’s early 60’s so I was told by him and my grandmother and he is 81 years old now and he is a solid Norwood 5 maybe 6

Its may be because of, Lack of protein, Too much vitamin A and stress
