Hey guys, been on finasteride 22 months and it didn't help the itch but since being on CPA my itch is dramatically reduced and I think ( not sure ) I have decreased my hairloss. What does this mean? Is it working? Sorry if this makes little sense I'm very drunk right now.

Ive been on finasteride for 2.5 months now and before finasteride I had crazy scalp itch and soreness. A couple of days after taking finasteride the itch and soreness went away by like 95%. But I still continue to lose a lot of hairs everyday and have noticeably lower density. I don't know what this means but finasteride definitely made my scalp itch stop so I am curious to know the answer to your question too.

Perhaps.

Since oral spironolactone, I don't have the so called "male pattern baldness itch" anymore, even though it's just a hypothesis in my humble opinion.
