Hello!

Im balding since 19 and now im 26, im pretty much IV and II-III with concealer and a little bit styling, top is balding rapidly and temples are gone, but toppik/helps me survive and no one hasnt mentioned much about my hair, but it buggers me still. Im a young lad and its too soon to go bald, in 20 yeats i probably wont care if i have hair or not. I can probably manage a year with concealers but the clock is ticking and i dont want to worry about that anymore. So i had some research and hairsytems and plugs are only options. With plugs ive read u wont get satisfied completely and the money going is pretty high, so i think id prefer a system.

1. The thing is i have curlyish hair and i dont know if theres any decent curly hair systems, but only if i have longer hair the curls come. If im 2-3 inch theres slight wavy hair but not much, only maybe when wet.

2. What are the best hairstyles for systems to be fully natural?

3. I live in easter europe so what online shop would be ideal for me? max delivery would be a month and cost not over 300 per piece. And what equipment would i need?

4. I have no idea how to pick a piece and a shade, so any advice would be nice. I think i prefer to shave my top and then install it.

5. What to tell people when my hair is changed ? If they ask what happened to my hair etc

I probably have more questions but cant think of them at the moment, will post them later if there is some more.

Ill post pic also, later when iwash i can post natural hairloss also but i think its not mandatory. Btw its not my regular hairstyle, i comb it and use spray to conceal it, but hairline is still gone... :(

Help me!

Hello Hellowguy!

Taking your questions:

1. You can get curly systems - the manufacturers just perm the hair. If you have curly hair on the sides and back, you need to get a matching curl on the system, which is one more issue to deal with. Best to send in a sample which shows the manufacturer how much curl. But the upside is that with curls you don't have an exposed hairline, so they are pretty much completely undetectable.

2. You can really do any style and it will look natural. The thing to avoid is too much density, and a hairline which is inappropriate for your age (but at 26 you don't really need to worry about that too much yet).

3. I will send you a PM about suppliers. You don't need much equipment - good mirrors are the most important thing - a big well-lit wall mirror and a big handheld mirror are ideal. Other useful things are a polystyrene wig head and some pins, some spring clips, and a hairbrush with plastic tips on the prongs (to avoid catching in the base).

4. I would definitely recommend sending a sample of your hair to get a good colour match - even several labelled samples if your hair is different coloured in different locations on your head.

5. Try to distract them - wear a hat, use scalp make-up (Toppik etc), grow a beard. Then have a holiday and come back wearing the system. Start with a low density system which is not too much thicker than your growing hair. It's unlikely people will notice, but if they do, you can say that you have been taking medication and it is working for you, or if you prefer to be more frank you can say that you have been going to a specialist salon and having extensions added.

Thanks for the reply and PM, Noah!

How the barber visits usually go, do i need some special advice on them or its ordinary stuff like with regular hair?

And the clues and stuff will be shipped with the piece or i have order them separate?

Not all barbers are capable or willing to cut in a hair system. It is not the same as a regular haircut - you need the bulk of the system to diminish gradually and flow seamlessly into your growing hair. You are more likely to find a suitable person at a "hair salon" rather than a barber shop.

You have to order glues "and stuff" separately .
