I am 22 years old. I have a big forehead and curly hair that clumps up together sometimes so it looks like I have areas of thinner hair. As of late, I think I have been balding (crown and hairline but unsure). Non of my friends or family agree. Everytime I go to a new barber, they say my hair is thick and that I have alot of it.

Please check video out and give me your opinion. Flash was on.

I am planning on using lllt and dermarollers, dont want to do finasteride. I will also be seeing a dermatologist in London next week. What should I ask them?

Your hair is thick but your hairline seems like it's maturing. Make sure your dermatologist has a hair densitometer or don't bother going to him. You can't always just look at someone's hair and tell if they have miniaturization.

The dermatologist is a hair loss specialist so I hope they will have one. £400 just for a consultation too :'(.

I was thinking of asking about the following alternative treatments: topical finasteride, CB0301, topical zinc, lllt, microneedling. If there are any others that you would recommend, please let me know :)

Wow, that is steep price for a consultation. I would definitely consider topical finasteride mixed with minoxidil for a topical. Call the office and ask before you waste your money.

Okay so I went to the consultation and the dermatologist said that there is no hair loss and that my hair is very thick.

I asked about topical finasteride but the dermatologist can't write a prescription for that because only compounding pharmacies outside of the UK make them and the prescription would only be valid in the UK.

Did the doctor use a densitometer?
