The best thing you can do is stay calm because stress = more hairloss. Im 20 and a norwood
Yea right haha
I just hope the 2020 will be my salvation
I wouldn't get your hopes up, if you do nothing til then you will be bald in 2020 and we will still have the same old treatments. If you want a hard hitting solution get on oral minoxidil. Ive been on it for over a month now and i can already see some regrowth :) a couple of the hairs popping up look thick too!

At the very least start using Nizoral shampoo. minoxidil would be a good idea, think long and hard about Propecia though, do a lot of research on it.

Is it safe to use it with finast every day?

The sides are rare but serious. It's an intensely personal decision you'll have to make on your own IMO.

Safe? Probably not. Worth it? Definitely! I take finasteride and oral minoxidil, not had any side effects except my hair is now growing back :)

I would stay on both until you get results from oral minoxidil. Stick with us dude and we will turn that thinning hair into thickening hair

Males (females too) who had an incrediably thick hair at a young age, usually end up with a very agressive form of hair loss (Norwood 7 + DUPA). I had an amazing density as a child and in my teenage years, but since 18 it gradually started to thin out, and finally at 22 I started balding noticeably. I did some research, prepared big guns for battle and decided to fight until the end... and you know what? I'm winning...

Broscience. Dude, i have the same type of hairloss like you do, mine started at 17.. by 19 i had the same thin spot on top like you have now, fast forward 4 years and my hair is thin all over BUT i'm not completely bald. I also responded good to treatments so i managed to recover some density. My advice would be for you to start with a lower dose of finasteride and work your way up. First it's important for you to see how do you respond to it, oh yea, take some blood tests before you start finasteride. Good luck !

Oh yea. If you ever feel depressed, or if you feel like you have lost all hope and you want to give up. Look in the "success stories" section on this website. It helped me alot when I felt hopeless, it kept me f*****g mental stable.

Thank you for your help and I think that I will respond well to finasteride because minoxidil 2% is working wonders for me and I wont get any sides because i workout daily and I read somewhere that thats good because you raise your testosterone levels by working out and then I wont have erectile dysfunction and thats the worst side effect and i cannot get easily depressed

I've restarted with 0.25 mg on february this year, last month i upped the dose to 0.5 mg and it's working fine for me. In december last year i was on 1 mg and i felt that I had sides so I had to quit, I believe that it was an initial shock for my body to start directly with the full dose ( again, this is broscience on my part, i don't have any evidence ). In another 6 months i will reevaluate how 0.5 mg has worked for me and I will see if I need to up my dose to 1 mg or not. Trial and error, this is my approach. If I were my 18 self now, i would start 0.25 mg finasteride and slowly evaluate the situation of my hair and how I feel, then adjust the treatment according to that.
