The temple hair is normally much thinner than the rest of the hair and has to be tacked down well to appear natural.I want to be able to slick hair back thus exposing the temple hair.Not sure if I should order it thinner or just have my stylist thin that area? Thoughts?
How to incorporate temple hair for a full cap?

There are two ways that can be used. If you still have some of your own hair in this region use that, then integrate it into the wig. I have done this succesfully with my existing remaining temple hairs, sideburns and nape hairs.
The other way is, as you suggest, get it custom made. I asked Eric at NWL to use lesser density in this area and vent the hairs back, using 2 inch thin Swiss lace front which extended to the temples. The Swiss front was also blond hair, the rest of the wig French lace with 1B. I then dye the blond hair to match the rest, thereby ovvercoming the visible hairline knot issue.
Unfortunately, full caps are still unavailable at NWL.

As I'm sure you already know, it is really difficult to create prosthetic temple hair with the degree of undetectability necessary to be able to expose them without giving the wig away. Natural temple hair is not only very very low density, with a lot of skin showing through, but the hairs are coming out at a very acute angle and hugging the skin surface - very hard to ventilate a hairpiece like that. That is why most full caps have a long-haired cut where the temples are mostly covered.
As Rob says, if you have any natural temple hair left, incorporating it is the best solution. You don't need much to create the effect of temples, but if you have some but not enough, you could consider eking it out with some tattooing. Or there is the option of a mini-transplant just for the temples.
I talked to a guy a while back who wore a full cap. He had no natural temple hair left at all. He had two little temple pieces made in ultra-fine lace with very low density ventilation, and he stuck them on separately from his wig to give himself temple definition. That was the most successful attempt at prosthetic temples I have seen. An awful lot of fuss to go to though. I am not sure I would have the motivation.

Well the truth of the matter is is that I don't have any Temple hair. I've seen the theater wigs on TV with the temple hair included but I'm not so sure of its natural appearance. I wear my hair almost shoulder length but sometimes I'd like to Slick it back and expose the hairline and Temple hair. Right now I do have Temple hair on the full cap system but it's just as thick as the rest of the system. My stylist talked about thinning out that Temple hair area maybe get more of a natural appearance.

I did this w/ an overly dense mono system.
Have you tried it with French Lace? Worried about damage...
It would be interesting to see pics. It all depends on the company that your ordering from. I asked Lavivid and they recommended a hybrid. I dont think they offer an all lace full cap. I will tell you that lace is easier to "tack down" especially in the temple and sideburns area.I need to tweak my template in those areas as this is crucial on a full cap.

I'm pretty sure those temples are prosthetic. Jude does still have temples, but not as luxuriant as that. Also, there is the problem that I referred to above - the hair is coming out of the skin at too vertical an angle, and not hugging the skin as natural temple hair does, making the overall effect a little too bushy. These look reminiscent of the fake temple pieces that John Travolta was using on the infamous photos where his hairpiece was exposed, although unlike Travolta, Jude Law's makeup covers up the lace.
