Been doing it like the right for 5 years because i was told to not cover my natural hair if possible but im wondering if i cut like the left it would be more indetectable and easier to blend with my hair? thanks

For the best and easiest blend, your system should be sitting alongside thick healthy hair. So if you have weak thin hair around the edges of your bald area, it is better to buzz them down and increase the size of your piece to cover them. So I think the answer to your question is probably 'yes'.

Agreed, Left pic, much easier to attach and blend
In addition to what Noah has said above, the uniformity of shape of the left version will serve you better in the long run, easier to apply tape, tabs, it will also be less fiddly when positioning - and be less weird/phallic looking ;)

Though, it is easier to align it with temple flaps. If those are aligned, then the back will be aligned as well, so less need to check the back.

What do you mean by 'temple flaps'. Do you mean the 'flaps' on the front of the hair template on the right in the original poster's post?
