He does have thin temples, but idk some teenage girls are the same way. Worth checking with a doctor

yes bro unfortunately this is male pattern baldness .
but many guy at 16 have such an hairline which started to reced. If you act fast you might keep those temple which are miniaturizing .
But started propecia at 16 is harsh ( I would do it as my former 16 yo self ) .

Yeah.. it looks good on the first 2 pics, but really bad on the other 2

i wouldn't say it looks " very bad " , but clearly male pattern baldness and miniaturiation of the temple .

How is your family history for hair @noah cosgriff ? I won't beat around the bush, you do look like you've lost some hair up front. Unfortunately at 16 there is not much you can do, I would wait until you are 18 and then consider finasteride. Don't bother with minoxidil until one year of finasteride has passed.
