How common is developing gyno?

Not very, at the end of the day, unless you have a predisposed susceptibility for it.

Until you try each individual treatment, you will have no way of knowing how you personally respond.

Some morons will spend a year ranting and raving about how 5-ARI's are unnecessary and how you only need alternative treatments like ''Zix'', then the next thing you know they have dropped them and moved on to something else, meaning their whole ''I know better than everyone else'' shtick was BS all along.

So take any advice from guys like that with a pinch of salt.

All anyone can do, is use an trial and error approach and hope they can get one or a combination of the treatments available to work long term.

I just can't believe it. The reason of side effects isn't the drug itself (finasteride or dutasteride). It's how your body reacts to DHT inhibition and inhibition of other important things 5α-Reductase is responsible for.
Both finasteride and dutasteride are poison. But dutasteride is much worse on paper.

I already got Finasteride 5mg prescribed but holy sh*t is the fear of getting gyno big. I don't think I ever developed gyno in my teens. My T level is somewhat "high" (700ng/ml 2 years ago) would that mean my E would get a bit too high after getting on Finasteride? I do wokrout 3x/week although I'm a bit higher body fat percentage right now.

Should I get on the pill and if I feel anything on my chest I should quit before it develops and needs surgery? How common is developing gyno? Why the f*** is loss of libido and ED talked more than f*****g GYNO?!?!

Not too common. But if it happens you can always have surgery for it.

Have you tried both drugs yourself and compared them? If not dont talk. I have read other guys on forums saying the exact same as me.

Why are you worried of gyno? Are you prone to easily get gyno or you had it as a kid or what? Gyno is very rare man it only would have happened if your T decreased alot and your E was high. Which is rare to happen on finasteride. Just get on the drug already and monitor.

If you are so worried about side effects including gyno then maybe you shouldn't take finasteride. The question is what are you willing to sacrifice for hair? I haven't really had any concerning problems taking finasteride and I knew all the risks but still decided to take them. My hair was important to me. Still is.
