The pic is of my system on the vendor’s website. How can I style my hair to look like this?

It looks like it has just been finger-combed with some kind of oily dressing. Brylkreem maybe?

My hair (system) is higher density than that but I use a fair bit of leave in conditioner that makes it look thinner and shiny, like the pic above.

I tried this with PHL and it made my hair very hard and crunchy when it dried. Do you have this happen?

The reason I want to switch to all-poly is so I can use pomades, and now have them keep into the unit through the holes in the lace, and cause the bond to weaken.

You can achieve something of a similar look w/ ordinary gel, but that does look like some grease.
