There is no such thing as "telogen effluvium" unless you are a woman given birth or under some serious medical conditions.

So there is such a thing. I too had some sort of thinning when I was 14 when I was under a lot of stress (I thinned on the top and sides but it wasn't very severe). I had taken morphine because I had an operation and my hair started to thin out after a few weeks and i noticed it after i had a buzzcut because my hair was getting too long and i couldnt go to a barber because i was still recovering from my operation andmy hair thickened up after a few months after I stopped taking meds and stopped stressing. But my hair didn't look like this guys, it was unpatterened and was very apparent on the top and sides after I had a buzzcut while this guy seems to only have thinning on the top so I think it's diffuse thinning.
