or your baldness is advanced enough that is shows a lot of scalp? I still got a decent amount of hair even tho im balding rapidly which makes me severly depressed. Anyway, when I apply my foam, how im supossed to not exced the dose of about 4 clicks or pumps (how you call this? I mean when you press the button) Man it's so ****ing annoying. It gets stuck on the hair, I just have the feeling like more than half of it gets stuck on the hair doesn't penetrate on the scalp, so I have to apply double the dose and my 200 ml bottle lasts sometimes half a month. I like to apply on my crown and massage extending it, then i draw a line of foam on the hairline and extend it, i massage it, i do the same on the rest of the head trying to cover all of it. Ive been like 10 months with it and im not seeing results, im balding, im lossing hair, not only lossing but i can see how im receding, please help me im insanely depressed. My DHT was above normal so maybe I start oral as well (im using topical and also minoxidil) maybe 0.5 3 times a week. RU is too damn expensive to use frequently if I had money i would use it too. **** im devastated.

Sorry to see your having a hard time TS. I tried Minoxodil before and didn't like the idea of gunking up washed hair with it and found the results suspect and I wasn't buying a generic so it cost a bit. I'm honestly beginning to think all these treatments are keeping us clinging on to a false hope. I reckon the best cures are to consider if we would have an hair transplant and at what age if yes ? Would we consider a piece ? Have we seen how we look with a buzz as some guys can look good ? Trying to work out a way so that are confidence is not damaged. Possibly accepting that hair loss may make us less attractive to some women, certainly not all and that we may not be Don Juan or Casanova but this won't make us mingers either.

You use a syringe with a blunt point then you part your hair and rub it over your scalp.

I use the liquid, I usually apply it at the hairline 0.5 ml at the left and 0.5 ml on the right. One squirt each time, fast not slow. If I do it slow then I find it gets on my hair. If i do it fast it gets to my scalp.
Then I angle my head to control the dripping backwards to cover my anterior region. I do the same on my crown. One or two squirts and angle my head to control dripping. Not perfect, still have to use more, sometimes 3 ml per application, but it's the best technique I've found.

I get 15 days out of a bottle, twice a day, aiming for 2 ml in the morning and 2 ml at night. I buy it in bulk from biovea.

gotta say Resu your avatar is dorky to boot. A guffawing George Clooney could kiss my *** with his quaffed batch of pubes on his head.

I also had the same trouble. Even parting the hair meticulously was still gunning everything up.

This is what i do. But it is possible to just take your time and slowly work your way through your scalp.

Liquids are hell. I would run out of patience having to carefully part my hair and having to carefully move my head to not have the liquid running down my forehead specially when applying to frontal. Foam seems like the best approach, it's just too ****ing annoying anyway, because it gets all over the hair and makes it look bad.

Topicals suck in general. I can see why it has to be done though for some people. Every time I enter a chemist I see the shelves full off Regaine, never seems even remotely bought by people. I reckon people buy it online as it's cheaper but I just don't think it's in widespread use. Neither is finasteride for male pattern baldness sufferers but it's more popular out of the two I suspect.

I've used Minoxidil twice this week and it wasn't a pain to use, I kind of use it like how GoldenMane described. But I have decided to stop using it and stick with finasteride and a future transplant.

If you're a diffuser you definitely should try Minoxidil, but for a receder it most likely won't give us what we need and seems too much effort for life just for a little bit of growth at the hair line.
