How About Very Cold Weather? Canada Wearer

Hi I leave in Montreal and here it can get really hot and wet on the summer and really cold and dry on the winter. I'm talking -20°C on average.
How the glue or tape react when it's freezing cold? I know that glue loses it's adherence when frozen so I was wondering.

I have skied in the Canadian Rockies and in Hokkaido when it has been seriously cold (minus 40 with windchill was the lowest) with no ill effect on my bond. I guess because the glue is attached to your head it never gets that cold. Some glues are spoiled by being allowed to get frozen, so if you live in a place like Canada you need to get the supplies for the winter during the summer.

I have done down to minus 20c in the Baltics and Eastern Europe for several weeks. No effect.
Heat and other factors can mean more frequent reattaching.
