Hiding Hair Transplant By Doing One Side After The Other

Hi all, luckily my hair loss with 40 is not too aggressive and I am a NW2.5.

However, my temples annoy me a bit to say at least and would love to have them fixed. I guess 700 grafts per side should be enough for a good result.

To conceal the transplant i am thinking of leaving my hair long with around 7cm and do the correction just on one side. So i could do a comb over to hide the transplant. 12 months later i could do that for the other temple.

Anyone thought about doing it this way or has experience with it?

I agree, but in the back i can habe it quite short anyway and after around 3 weeks it should be possible to hide it quite well

I think it’s a great idea. Just make sure the surgeon has a clear idea of what you want and how you aim to style your hair afterwards.

best to have it done in one session yes agreed
grow your hair real long on the front and top and shave the side/back so you can do a combover to hide the recipient. donor is not the issue with fue it heals fast after 1 week, recipient takes months to look normal
