Help With Identifying Norwood Level

Hi everyone -

I’m not in denial. I know that I’m receding. I’ve been on finasteride for almost a year now, and though I don’t think I’ve seen regrowth, I don’t think the recession has gotten much worse

That said, I’d like to know how bad people think this is (what Norwood am I?) to determine what my options are down the line (transplant, switching to dutasteride, etc...)

norwood 2 mate but i would keep a eye on it for sure.....looks very good atm though.

also depends on your age......if you're 21 then i'd get on finasteride asap if your over 35 then all good.

Should have mentioned that I’m 23 and already on finasteride

Would adding minoxidil help at all for the hairline? I know it’s not technically approved for that, but I’ve heard anecdotally that it can sometimes help

youre norwood 2.

but as for Minoxidil, it didnt regrow my hairline that I had in my youth. But it did turn my vellus hairs back to terminal/thickened up some diffused thinning hairs.

it wouldnt hurt to try it
