help me i cant use minoxidil any more. pics inside

Hello every one, i need some help. I am 25 I have diffuse thining all over my head and some serious thinning in the crown. I wasnt really loosing hair intill i started using steroids. Im not sure if i was suppost to go bald or not, or if i just sped up the process.

Any way i havent used steroids in about 6 months. I had how ever grown alot of hair back from using minoxidil. Its sort of like when using minoxidil my whole head is covered with hair, its just that my hair has to be kept short because some of the hairs are so miniaturized that they only work to fill it in. I have however stopped using the minoxdil because it bloates my face and gives me severe wrinkles at 25 years old. so all that hair that the minoxidil grew has fallen out and my hair is diffusly thinned out.

if i was to look at my hair under the light it would be easy to see that my hairs are spread out and unhealthy looking, but most people didnt notice because the minoxidil was doing such a good job of keeping hair,

I do notice that places where i am missing hair, especially my widows peak that i can see the holes where the follicles where and they look like its like dry skin damage all over them.

I naired my head last week in an attempt to take off all the unhealthy looking skin that i either have from tanning, from using steroids or from using minoxidil with rentin a in extreme excess, and it didnt really work and now the hair on the top of head is growing back much slower than the sides. i have spaces missing all over the top of my head and sides. I know if i started to use minoxidil again i could cover my head fully again with in a month but it gives me horrible bloated wrinkles on my face and im still recovering from when i previously used it.

I naturally have depression and sexual issues and thats what led me to juice so i cant use propecia but i dont use steroids any more so the excess dht and testosterone that caused the hair loss should no longer be present, i do however realize that the hair probably will not grow back.

does any one have any suggestions, is there a dermatologist hair specialist i can see about my hair, i live in nyc.

some of these pics are at different stages. the first ones are from when i was using a lot of monox but then i started to get a bloated face and had to stop and now im pretty thin again.
I havent taken any recent pics but i just naired my head in an attemp to take off the unhealthy layer of skin and the top isnt growing back nearly as fast as the sides. Its all growing back in weird strip like clumps.

hmm i would def keep hair short like the first one and try a topical anti androgen like spironolactone or flutagel, wich is flutamide.

well in the second one i actually have a good amount of hair from minoxidil. What else can i use, i dont want to use those topicals that are going to affect testosterone levels and i really cant use minoxidil any more, at least till these wrinkles above my eyes go away.

i need regrowth or else my hair is pretty much already a lost cause. I also would like something that will defianlty make sure i dont get one of those nasty scarred up heads people have from the rejection or whatever it is.

If i dont have excess dht any more, wouldnt i not need propecia.

Were you out in the sun alot after using minoxidil? That can cause problems.

you look like a diffuse thinner, im experimenting with .05 mg eod finasteride (pretty much the lowest chance of side effects, along with THEORETICALLY good hair growth). You should probably try that.

Diffuse thinning is probably the worse case scenario for all balding. You cant get Hair Transplants and its almost imposible to thicken up using meds.

The bottom pic in your series of photos is by far the most telling of your situation.

TO be honest based on the bottom pic in your series of photos there is no doubt your diffusing all over your head, but you have a great shaped head from what I can tell. You look like one of the few guys that would actually look awesome bald.

You have to buy the whole system with the shampoo. Shampoos only help slightly. What kind of sexual issues would cause you to take steroids? I thought steroids could lead to more sexual issues like shrinkage of the testicles.

when i started to use testosterone i felt so much better. the reason people get sexual sides from steroids is they are not using testosterone and there regular testoserone levels get suppresed.

well when using minoxidil with retina my hair started to look pretty unnoticeably bald. the problem is i think i got carried away with it and created some weird wrinkles and bulges and veins going across my forhead. I was using a rediculous amount
now that i have discontinued it they seem to have gone away about 75 percent.

i guess im curious if i had good results with minoxidil and since im not using juice, if i was to use it again is it possible that the hairs would become terminal and stick around.

in the second pic my hair was doing pretty good. Since i stopped taking minoxidil my head has been shedding, how long can i take a break from it with out my follicles permantly dying.

also why if the excess dht is absent because i stopped using testosterone is it any different from some one who never used testoserone but was balding being on propecia

I thought sexual sides were mainly from estrogen?
