Hey all, I believe my vertex is thinning. Am I going bald? Pics included are in different lighting

Yep that's definitely crown thinning. Luckily you have the easiest type of hair loss to treat. I would recommend you start finasteride, it like minoxidil works great on the crown and you could realistically expect to make a full recovery.

Anytime. You should begin to notice a difference somewhere in between 6 - 12 months. Have you noticed a decrease in shedding at all yet?

Yeah I have but I believe there could be a couple of factors. For a year until 3 months ago, I was living with my gf and never thoroughly washed my hair. I would lose around 30-50 hairs a day when I combed through it. Once I moved out, got on finasteride and began washing my hair thoroughly, I lose about 10-15 when I comb through it now. Hoping for regrowth.

I do. I never experienced it myself but I know its fairly common on dutasteride. If you haven't shed from it yet then I don't think you will get one at this point.

No noticeable shed but I think my hairline and crown got a little thinner since taking it...might just be it kicking in? The hairs that are falling out are discolored as well
