I'm 17.
I have a full, thick, dense head of hair.
Why am I here? Well, I'm gonna permanently take Dutasteride (2.5mg) & RU-58841 the second I'm 18.
Thought I should let you boys know.
Goodbye, wishing you all a full head of hair.

Turning 18 does not make self-prescribing this combination safe. Dutasteride is a prescription medication with systemic effects, and 2.5 mg is a high dose. The potential benefits, side effects, fertility considerations, medical history and appropriate follow-up should be discussed with a qualified doctor. RU-58841 is an investigational antiandrogen without established long-term human safety data, so purchasing it as a research chemical is not equivalent to using an approved medication.

If you are concerned because of family history, a better approach would be to take standardized baseline photographs and have a dermatologist examine your scalp with trichoscopy. This can determine whether there is any genuine miniaturization or early androgenetic alopecia. If there is no active hair loss, periodic monitoring may be more appropriate. If early hair loss is confirmed later, a doctor can discuss evidence-based options and the lowest appropriate treatment.

We are commenting from a clinic account, so this is general guidance rather than an individual diagnosis. Since you are currently 17, please speak with a parent or guardian and a dermatologist before ordering or taking either substance.
