I have been noticing my hair falling out a lot lately. It hasn’t been around 2 months. I’m guessing I’m losing around 300-400 hairs a day. Every time I run my hands through my hair I get around 30-40 hours. My hair brush is full every day. I am 27 and always had full, thick hair. I have never given my hair a second thought. I have been reading and understand it could be triggered by something. I have lost about 15 pounds recently and 4 months ago I had a miscarriage and then another miscarriage the next month. I wonder if these events triggered this. I had a breakdown tonight when I looked at the back of my head and noticed a bald spot. I am so scared this isn’t going to get better or it will continue for months and become so much more noticeable. I can tell my ponytail is much thinner and my temples are thinned out a lot too. Any ideas? I’m going to schedule an appointment for a derm ASAP.

It sounds like you may Telogen Effluvium - sudden onset hair loss when hair is put into the Telogen phase where it likes to fall out. You've had a tough time of it recently and lost some weight. Hope you see improvement soon.
